ELECTRONIC REGISTRATION SYSTEM FOR FABRIC FAULTS WITH PRINTER AND LCD PANEL

Extremely useful optional feature of Serkon inspection machines is an electronic registration and reporting system for fabric faults and technological problems with printer. Precise control of length and weight of reviewed fabric rolls allows to verify their parameters efficiently and properties declared by fabric suppliers what results in significant financial benefits and elimination of loss in case if some faults or problems were registered. The operation of this system is based on an easy to use key panel with LCD screen which is displaying current measurement of fabric length and if the weighting system is available, also fabric roll’s weight. Software of the system allows to define up to 99 types of faults/problems. After the operator locates a fault, he has only to stop the rewinding by releasing button and has to press one button on the panel responsible for error registration, followed by previously defined code of the error. The information about selected type of fault and its position is automatically registered. After a review is finished the report, consisting of the main label and error report labels is being printed, which lists types and positions of all registered errors. If during fabric inspection more than 25 errors will be registered, they’ll be printed on an additional label. Maximum amount of errors possible to be registered for one roll is 40. Main label contains technological and production information defined by the user, measured length, weight of roll and barcode allowing to identify the roll with information about measured length and weight. Main label fields – header and eight lines below – can be freely modified by the user and 20 labels can be stored in memory as label templates, which will be easily accessible and if necessary promptly modified or adjusted to current needs.
